Friends of John Wood School

Friends of John Wood School is the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) for John Wood School & Nursery. The association exists to promote positive relationships, understanding and cooperation between home and the school community. All parents and carers are automatically members of the PTA.

An Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held early in the Autumn Term, during which a committee is elected. Parents and carers are kept informed of upcoming events and activities through regular communications.

The Friends of John Wood School committee plays an important role in supporting the school by organising events and fundraising activities that enhance school life and provide valuable resources for the children. The success of the PTA relies on the support, encouragement and active involvement of parents and carers, and new ideas and volunteers are always very welcome.
